Leadership Excellence: De J. Lozada
De J. Lozada, the agency's founder and principal, exemplifies excellence in Public Affairs. Her qualifications include:
- 30+ years of experience in Public Affairs.
- A Master's degree in Communications Strategies from the University of Maryland (European Campus, Heidelberg).
- International certification from the Advanced Public Affairs Officer Course at the Defense Information School, Fort Meade, MD.
- Her distinguished career spans roles with the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. State Department, where she handled Civilian Public Affairs at the highest levels in Europe (1990s - early 2000s).
Since returning to the U.S., De J. has held numerous leadership positions in Communications and Government Affairs at the state and local levels, in multiple industries including education, travel and tourism, and small business. Today, she is an award-winning journalist, a successful multi-business owner, a mother of 2 adult children, and a recent first-time grandmother.
